During our May Procession, the oldest girl and youngest boy in our school crowned Our Lady with flowers. We sang hymns and prayed the rosary together (some decades were said in different languages) by our grotto.

A group of children attended an exciting A.I.M High Science Space workshop. A.I.M. High is a tailored, high-quality, aspirational, and deepening learning experience for children to be able to – Achieve, Inspire, and Master. A.I.M. High days provide a wonderful opportunity for children to delve deeper and master greater challenges. The children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the fun hands-on activities to promote engineering skills and problem solving.

Bus Day Experience 30th Apr 2025

A number of Year 5 and 6 pupils took part in a bus day experience organised by TFL and Lambeth Council. The children had the opportunity to meet a bus driver and two ticket inspectors. They were reminded about personal and road safety. The session enabled the children to feel confident travelling independently.

Throughout the term, children have been working hard to get their names put in the Headteacher's Golden Book for either great effort with their work or for following the Gospel values. As well as children being recognised in assembly each week for being in the 'Golden Book', children are given a sticker and a raffle ticket and have a chance to win a prize at the end of the term. Thank you to all the parents who donated chocolate eggs for the Easter raffle. There was a great selection for the lucky winners to choose from.

Fr. Marcus, who is our parish priest of St. Bede is leaving us to go to Rome to train new priests. We were fortunate to have him for 7 years. We did some class thank you and goodluck cards for his support, administering sacraments and serving Masses. Thank you Fr. Marcus!
